The essential feature of Guido Rizzini's sidelock is the bridle being integral with the lockplate.

Usually the bridle  is attached to the lockplate by screws, allowing potentially micro movements with prolonged use, leading to possible malfunction of the lock. With bridle and lockplate machined from one piece of steel we can achieve superior functional integrity.

The small number of components ( six, excluding the pins ) adds further to the reliability of the mechanism.

Another creation of Guido Rizzini's genious is the ejector system.

Like all of his inventions it is simple and solid: in one word: functional.

Of course it needs to be fitted and regulated by skilled hands and this can be done only at the shop in Magno.

In 1979 Guido Rizzini developed the first of the mechanisms that were going to distinguish his side - by - sides : the single trigger .

This basic component of the gun is very simple and combines the best features of a mechanical trigger with the best characteristics of an inertial one .

Basically it is composed by three parts, excluding the trigger itself, and all their main movements are done by mechanical contacts against the locks . This is very important and means that, even after many shots, everything will still work properly. Twenty five years passed after we fitted the first of our single triggers and since then we never had to repair one..
